West Coast Finest  is more than just an basketball organization it's a family...

​

West Coast Finest Youth Sports was established in 2022 to provide young ladies a national platform that allows them an opportunity to compete for an NCAA college scholarship. In 2022 West Coast Finest was invited to join the prestigious Adidas Girls Basketball league and became one of the only 28 teams that’s nationally sponsored by Adidas 3SSB girl’s grassroots basketball.  West Coast Finest was established to extend our platform to the San Diego area. We are currently the only sponsored program in San Diego. West Coast Finest is also a member of the Amateur Athletic Union. We provide a year-round program with high level skill development training, coaching and instruction for Elementary, Middle and High School student athletes.

 

West Coast Finest strives to create a fun but competitive environment that caters to players from all nationalities, economic background and basketball skill levels. We require all players to be committed, dedicated and loyal to each other and the organization. We have created a WE over ME culture that we feel will help our young ladies compete on the court because of the relationships that are formed off the court. We understand that nothing is perfect and everyone will have to compromise to make the dream work both Coaches and players.

Practice:

​

Teams will practice on average two times/week from late March until the end of July for 1.5 to 2 hours a session. Most practices will be held during the week with dates, times, and locations set once the teams are selected. WC Finest primarily practices at different locations in Chula Vista, Spring Valley and San Diego. Weekend practices are possible when tournaments are not being held.

Tournaments:

WC Finest typically plays between 6-10 tournaments from April-July based on age level. Teams will play in both local and regional/national tournaments also based on age level and team level.

West Coast Finest San Diego ultimate goal is to be a place  that provides a high quality basketball experience for youth players that want pursue their goals through basketball. We are committed to developing player skills to help them gain national exposure, while we strive to be a place that will create positive experiences and memories both on and off the court.

​

At WCF we help student-athletes showcase their talents in front of college coaches throughout the spring and summer months. We believe that this type of exposure will give each girl the best possible chance to improve their game and to receive a college scholarship offer if that is their goal.

​

Our coaching staff has quality high school and middle school coaches and our coaches have dedicated themselves to teaching young ladies life lessons through the game of basketball. We stress fundamentals. We want the girls to become better basketball players.

West Coast Finest is a place where we use our knowledge and experience to promote all players with an opportunity to succeed. We push to raise players basketball IQ and provide a positive environment where players will grow.

We are an elite travel program respected througout the basketball community and beyond. We play in exposure tournaments and shootouts across the United States. The tournaments we participate in are very well attended by college coaches. Our goal is always to put players in the best situation and give them an edge to get noticed and be recruited by college coaches.
